Who is the father of satanism

Father Samaan's mission in North Lebanon was to travel from one village to another, preaching and curing the people from the spiritual disease of sin, and saving them from the horrible trap of Satan. The Reverend Father waged constant war with Satan. The fellahin honoured and respected this clergyman, and were always anxious to buy his advice or prayers with pieces of gold and silver; and at every harvest they would present him with the finest fruits of their fields.

One evening in autumn, as Father Samaan walked his way towards a solitary village, crossing those valleys and hills, he heard a painful cry emerging from a ditch at the side of the road. He stopped and looked in the direction of the voice, and saw an unclothed man lying on the ground. Streams of blood oozed from deep wounds in his head and chest. He was moaning painfully for aid, saying, "Save me, help me.

Have mercy on me, I am dying. He probably tried to rob the wayfarers and failed. Someone has wounded him, and I fear that should he die I may be accused of having taken his life.

I am dying! His lips quivered, but he spoke to himself, saying, "He must surely be one of the madmen wandering in the wilderness. The sight of his wounds brings fear into my heart; what shall I do? Surely a spiritual doctor is not capable of treating flesh-wounded bodies. Come, for we have been friends a long time. You are Father Samaan, the good shepherd, and I am not a thief nor a madman. Come close, and do not let me die in this deserted place.

Come, and I will tell you who I am. He withdrew to his feet sharply, and exclaimed, "Who are you? Help me to stand, and take me to the nearby streamlet and cleanse my wounds with your linens. You have seen me one thousand times and you speak of me each day. I am dearer to you than your own life. A dying man should tell the truth. I have never seen your evil face in my entire life. Tell me who you are, or I will suffer you to die, soaked in your escaping life.

He trembled and cried out, saying, "God has shown me your hellish image and justly caused me to hate you; cursed be you for evermore! The mangled lamb must be destroyed by the shepherd lest he will infect the other lambs! Come and close my wounds quickly, before life departs from my body. You must die accursed by the tongues of the ages, and the lips of humanity, for you are the enemy of humanity, and it is your avowed purpose to destroy all virtue.

Give heed, for I will relate my story. Today I walked alone in this solitary valley. When I reached this place, a group of angels descended to attack, and struck me severely; had it not been for one of them, who carried a blazing sword with two sharp edges, I would have driven them off, but I had no power against the brilliant sword. Then he continued, "The armed angel -- I believe he was Michael -- was an expert gladiator.

Had I not thrown myself to the friendly ground and feigned to have been slain, he would have torn me into brutal death. You are blessing Michael, who never has come to your rescue. You are cursing me in the hour of my defeat, even though I was, and still am, the source of your tranquility and happiness.

You deny me your blessing, and extend not your kindness, but you live and prosper in the shadow of my being. You have adopted my existence as an excuse and weapon for your career, and you employ my name in justification for your deeds.

Has not my past caused you to be in need of my present and future? Have you reached your goal in amassing the required wealth? Have you found it impossible to extract more gold and silver from your followers, using my kingdom as a threat? What would you do tomorrow if you allowed me to die today? What vocation would you pursue if my name disappeared?

For decades you have been roaming these villages and warning the people against falling into my hands. They have bought your advice with their poor dinars and with the products of their land. A father falsely accused of abusing his two children as part of a "satanic cult" has spoken of the "horrific" allegations he faced. In an exclusive interview, Ricky says he is still receiving death threats from people who believe the claims.

In March, a family court judge dismissed the claims - also posted in internet videos - as "baseless".

She said the children had been forced to make the allegations by their mother and her new partner. Ricky - the BBC is not publishing his full name in order to protect his children - told the Victoria Derbyshire programme the first he knew about the allegations was last September when he was told to go to a police station. The claims - that he led a "satanic cult" in north London and that he and other members carried out the abuse - had been made by his children in mobile phone recordings and two police interviews.

Their names and videos of them making the allegations were also widely circulated online by their mother and campaigners. They named 60, 70, 80 people," he said. It's just horrific upon horrific detail. Delivering her judgement at the High Court, Mrs Justice Pauffley said the children had been forced to concoct accounts of horrific events and that their stories were a result of relentless emotional and psychological pressure and significant physical abuse by their mother's new partner in collaboration with their mother.

Ricky said imagining what his children had been through was what he found most difficult. Legendary occultist Aleister Crowley viewed Satan symbolically.

Its founder Gregor A. Sometime between and , Anton Lavey, a former carnival worker and musician, held night classes in the occult. Regular attendees eventually formed the Church of Satan. These sessions were mostly discussion-based but on April 30, , the group formalized as the Church of Satan and the meetings became more ritual-based, incorporating theatrics, costuming and music.

Lavey became known as the Black Pope. Anton Lavey, of the First Satanic Church, performing a satanic ceremony, The Satanic Bible gave the church a national reputation and served as a strong vehicle for its significant growth. Ohio barber and part-time spiritual medium Herbert Sloan claimed in that he started the first Satanist organization, the Our Lady of Endor Coven of the Ophite Cultus Sathanas, in Sloane described his group as focused on the metaphysical aspects of Satan and offered service, communion and coffee and donuts socializing afterward.

As the Church of Satan grew in size, internal rifts developed, leading some members split off to start their own branches. Newsletter editor Michael Aquino left to form the Temple of Set in , and plenty others followed. The next decade brought in newer denominations like the Luciferian Children of Satan, founded by Marco Dimitri in Italy in Dimitri was convicted of child abuse but was later cleared.

The Satanic Reds formed in in New York, and combined Satanism with socialism and Lovecraftian concepts—a subgenre of horror fiction. The s Satanic Panic saw Christian fundamentalists push the idea that Satanic cults were systematically abusing children in rituals and committing widespread murder, and successfully convince the general public through sensational news coverage.

Serial killer Richard Ramirez , when finally captured in , claimed to be a Satanist, employing Satanic symbolism to his look and claiming to know Lavey, adding fuel to the fire of the panic.

Lavey claimed they had briefly met in the streets in the s, but Ramirez had never set foot in the church. The panic escalated, with Satanic Ritual Abuse becoming a standard aspect of high profile cases like the McMartin School in California. These criminal cases featured a consistent lack of evidence and alleged coercion on the part of child psychologists pushing the conspiracy theory. The zeal of the fundamentalists led to few if any investigations or prosecutions of actual Satanists.

Most of the victims of the frenzy were other Christians. In Barton appointed author and Church member Peter H. Gilmore as high priest and his wife, church administrator Peggy Nadramia, as high priestess.

The GCL follows many LaVeyan principles with touches of the occult and has chapters in other countries.

The most successful result of church divisions is The Satanic Temple. It first gained attention in with a satirical rally against Florida Governor Rick Scott, but grew into a more organized group quickly.
